Busy with a world tour, Big Bang will not promote special edition album
As Big Bang‘s special edition album goes on sale, the group has decided not to do domestic promotional activities.
On May 29th, a representative from Big Bang’s agency YG Entertainment spoke to StarN on the phone and revealed, “There will be no activities in Korea for the special edition album ‘Still Alive‘ Big Bang is releasing this time.“
With the release dates of the special edition ‘Still Alive’ tracks and album scheduled for June 3rd and 6th, respectively, Big Bang plans to contain 9 tracks, with 5 new songs, including their special edition title song, ‘Monster,’ along with the highly popular tracks off of their most recent mini-album, ‘Blue,’ ‘Bad Boy,’ ‘Fantastic Baby‘ and ‘Love Dust.’
However, as part of their world tour performances, because of their Japan concert schedules until June 24th, they have actually decided not to go on broadcasts and do things like promotional activities in Korea.
Having already actively promoted their mini-album ‘Alive‘ back in March, rather than making a comeback and promoting a follow-up track, Big Bang plans to set aside domestic activities for this special album and continue their 16 countries, 25 cities world tour, with concerts in North America, South America and Europe, by the end of the year.
